Calabogie, ON (June 1, 2019) – Britain West have brought Zachary Vanier and Matt Gidman to the rolling hills of Calabogie Motorsports Park to compete in the “Kyle’s Weekend” races, rounds 4-6 of the Toyo Tires F1600 Championship Series and the third weekend of competition in a row for the team.
Vanier is fresh off 3, second place finishes in last weekend’s Quebec series opener and looks to grab his first victory of the season. Gidman had a solid first weekend in the Toyo series opener two weeks ago and looks to move up in points as he competes here at Calabogie for the second time.
Friday was a fullday of testing. Practice, qualifying and race 1 get underway on Saturday with Sunday being the final two races of the weekend.
